As tens of millions of people are displaced from their homes and livelihoods by effects of climate change, Western Michigan University is hosting an international online symposium to help to build institutional capacity for supporting climate migrants, in partnership with the Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM).
A significant focus is to explore practical ways for the international community to better help governments of highly affected countries and their partners to restore and integrate climate migrants in urban settings.
This symposium is organized by the WMU Climate Change Working Group.
